Not studying an abstract and arcane text of the ancient world

The Divine Creator provided the greatest tool to learn what we should know, to make the best of our life, with His infallible Word, collected in 66 books, whereby 25% of the text is focussing on a Mashiach or Messiah, a Saviour for all mankind.

For some people it may look an arcane language of ancient times not useful any more for our contemporary world. The written collection of order, instruction, or guide, issued by an authority much higher than any living being on this earth, may for many be not easily understood, abstruse or obscure, because they just not want to listen to the words like they are written down but prefer to listen to human doctrines which may confuse lots of people and bring a lot of false teachings into the world. The Bible is not at all arcane, requiring secret knowledge to be understood. One does not have to have a degree in theology to come to understand God’s Word. To get to understand it and to get wisdom one needs to read it regularly and has to study those words given by the Most High, giving more attention to them than to words of so called theologians who prefer to hold on to human doctrines instead of Biblical doctrines.

When we study Torah, or the other books, together forming the Holy Scriptures or Bible, we are not studying an abstract and arcane text of the ancient world.

Those Words given to mankind in ancient times have been given to mankind to help them to restore their relationship with the Divine Maker. Looking at those ancient texts we can learn about the history of mankind and see how man went wrong and got many difficulties over himself by his own wrong doing. We also can see how the Divine Creator had not left His people alone but all the time was willing to come close to them and to help them.

By studying the Torah we are studying the way in which God wants us to live on this earth. It is a way to get again involved in the restoration of the relationship between man and its Maker. For Jews it is also the way to come to know their essence.

(We) are in fact engaged in discovering the essence of Judaism, which is to say, the essence of ourselves.

When we look at the history of the Jews we also can see that it demonstrates that the moment study of Torah was neglected, assimilation of the Jewish people into its surroundings made its inroad. Without fail, every Jewish community in history that did not teach and study Torah as its first priority gradually disappeared from the scene.

From this also non-Jews can learn. All people should come to see that

“Beyond all the good, rational reasons, Torah is the mysterious bridge which connects the Jew and God, across which they interact and communicate, and by means of which God fulfils His covenant with His people to sustain them and protect them.

It is therefore no surprise that Torah study is so central with the Jewish community. It is the first blessing a newborn child receives:

“May he grow up to Torah, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds.”

Siddur.
Siddur. – Sheynhertz-Unbayg

The Jews their Sidur or prayer book is also filled with petitions to God to help them to understand His Torah. No wonder Rebbe Akiva in the Talmud states that to expect a Jew to live without Torah is like expecting a fish to live without water. That’s because the fact is that the Torah is the essence of the Jewish people, but it should also be the centre of each lover of God, our very life and soul, and without it we literally have no existence.

For those who are looking for God, I can only advise to go and see what the Book of books God has provided may deliver to them. Each person taking up that sacred, holy or set-apart library of books shall be carried away by the texts, coming to understand lots of things which go wrong in this world. They also shall come to feel that Torah study is the single most satisfying endeavour that they came to undertake. By coming to study the Torah one shall come to feel that the Torah reveals to us “the mind of God,” and contains the deepest secrets of the universe.

But there is more than the Torah. The collection of 66 writings (letters and books), written over a period of 1500 years by 40 different writers in different styles, all are in one line in unison with each other. Those writers from different classes and different professions all contributed by writing down what was given to them by the Pneuma. Written in three different languages, Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek those works sometimes where also written for a specific group using their language or way of speaking and discussing their way of thought. Though we may not ignore that more than 3800 times those writers of the bible books say that it are not their words but the Words which came from God. Several times we also come to hear that we should use those words as a guidance or directive (serving or intended to guide, govern, or influence) for a good life.

We can see that those writers did not hide their own weaknesses and also wrote down their own faults, what most civilian readers would mostly avoid to come to light. Often “criticasters” or “critics of the Bible” say that there are contradictions in it; but often it is because of their lack of knowledge that they do not see that it are not contradictions but facts seen from an other perspective. Often the given proceedings complement each other, and the events looked from an other point of view, give additional information. We can see that those texts replete and complement so that we can learn more about it and come to see clearer in case we mist something in the first story or description of a similar event.

Reading from the scroll

Outside of the Torah we are further given information how to live and how to prepare ourselves for the Kingdom of God. When you know that the Books of the Torah give us the Law, we can come to see in the other books how people managed to live with or around The Law. In the Nevi’im and Kethuvim Aleph we also come to see how God went about with His people who so often forgot His Mighty Helping Hand.  Not only in the Nevi’im or Books of Prophets we find prophetic writings. 25% of the Bible exist of prophesies of which the majority came already in fulfilment and of which we can see how many years beforehand there was told about what was going to happen and did happen. So, the few which did not happen yet, but where told about, we may be sure shall still going to happen in the future.

Reading the Scroll

It are not only prophesies for the Jewish people [like Devarim (Deuteronomy) 28:26-67; Yehzqeel (Ezekiel) 36-37-] , but there is given a lot of attention to the foretold Mashiach or Messiah. In a following posting you shall be able to see how many times he was predicted and how the Bible itself is totally centred around that Saviour which was to come to bring liberation for all mankind, so not only for Jews, but for every living being. In the Kethuvim Bet or Messianic Writings the moment had come of the revelation of that Messiah, the bringer of peace, though his birth already brought a lot of bloodshed again from young toddlers.

Yes there may be a lot of bloodshed, misery, agony, been shown in those books. But there is also a lot of poetry and wisdom literature which not only can give insight but also lots of hope and showing the light to a marvellous perspective in reach for all who want to listen.

The Bible is no secret book though it might sometimes look mysterious. Some are convinced that it might require secret knowledge to be understood; being so mysterious and/or esoteric. You might call it arcane, only understood by a few. If the subject matter sounds arcaneincomprehensible, inscrutable, mysterious, recondite, unaccountable, unfathomable, unintelligible, unrecognizable and unpromising, it is certainly not unimportant and for sure very promising. Those books are also not confined to and understandable by only an enlightened inner circle, every person who want to read the text like it is written, shall be able to find the essence of what it wants to tell.

You do not have to read those books in a language which is almost always an agony of arcane jargon and clunky grammar. No there are modern translations using a vocabulary in different levels of reading possibility, not to abstruse or difficult to comprehend.

The Bible may be arcane in the sense of “to hold, contain, guard” (source also of Greek arkos “defense,” arkein “to ward off;” Armenian argel “obstacle;” Lithuanian raktas “key,” rakinti “to shut, lock”), showing the “hidden things, mysteries,” revealing the secrets or mysteries; the arcanus or “secret, hidden, private, concealed”.

Studying the set-apart Scriptures

By studying the Bible we may find out the Ways of God. He is willing to teach His Way when we are willing to listen to Him. The ones not wanting to know about God, in the end, shall come to know they shall miss something. To find the meaning of life shall be much more difficult than for the believer in God, who much easier shall be able to find peace at heart. All being created in the image of God and the original man having eaten from the Tree of Knowledge, having received knowledge of good and evil, also makes that God in all creatures has given some knowledge of good and evil, so that each individual has some idea of moral and ethics. All people do have have moral codes, but the ultimate authority behind those positions lies within themselves, each individual having to make his own choices.

Man should know that there is given The Law, a law and book of guidance, but when one loves somebody there is much more than a law that binds those partners. The love has to grow by getting to know God better and as a result laws would not be struggle or a difficult matter to keep. God His Laws will not be a burden when one loves the Most High. Out of love we shall also try to please that God to Whom we want to be close.

It should be the love for God which also brings us eager to read His Words. The desire to come to know what He likes most must be deep in our heart and shall bring us to read regularly those assembled books of wisdom. Out of love for our divine Creator we look forward to have Him above all human guides or teachers. He is the Most Precious teacher. He also provided other teachers whose words we should hear as well, like Solomon, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Jesus. We should know that no one who walks determines his own steps, but that it must be Him we should trust and have as our Guide to direct our steps.

Jeremiah 10:23-24 (TS2009)
23 O יהוה, I know the way of man is not in himself, it is not for man who walks to direct his own steps. 24 O יהוה, chastise me, but with right-ruling – not in Your displeasure, lest You bring me to naught.

Proverbs 20:24 (TS2009)
24 The steps of a man are from יהוה; What does a man know about his own way?

Proverbs 14:8 (TS2009)
8 The wisdom of the clever is to understand His way, But the folly of fools is deceit.

It is by letting us mould by that Word of God that we can become some one and shall not belong to the fools who do not want to come to know God. No word of any person can have such wisdom or can be so right as God’s Word, which is infallible. It is God Who steers our hearts into His love.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 (TS2009)
5 And the Master direct your hearts into the love of Elohim and into the endurance for Messiah.

Therefore let us incline our heart to God His Word more than to human philosophical talk and human doctrine, but keep to Biblical doctrine, in the knowledge that God is the Omniscient. when giving our ear to God He shall be willing to incline His ear to us as well and shall not abandon us.

1 Kings 8:56-61 (TS2009)
56 “Blessed be יהוה, who has given rest to His people Yisra’ĕl, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good word, which He promised through His servant Mosheh. 57 “יהוה our Elohim is with us as He was with our fathers – He does not leave us nor forsake us – 58 to incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to guard His commands and His laws and His right-rulings, which He commanded our fathers. 59 “And let these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before יהוה, be near יהוה our Elohim day and night, to maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Yisra’ĕl, the matter of each day in its day, 60 so that all the peoples of the earth might know that יהוה is Elohim, there is no one else. 61 “Let your heart therefore be perfect to יהוה our Elohim, to walk in His laws and guard His commands, as at this day.”

When walking by the same rule as the ancient People of Israel, we should press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of Elohim, letting His Word be our guide every day and every hour. That we may come directed in such a way that it maybe easy to follow the right direction. Knowing where God wants us to go, we must listen to Him as He speaks through the words of scripture and directs our paths, offering a gain which is much higher than the world ever shall be able to present us.

Proverbs 3:5-14 (TS2009)
5 Trust in יהוה with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 Know Him in all your ways, And He makes all your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;a Fear יהוה and turn away from evil.b Footnotes: aIsa 5:21. bJob 28:28. 8 It is healing to your navel, And moistening to your bones. 9 Esteem יהוה with your goods, And with the first-fruits of all your increase; 10 Then your storehouses shall be filled with plenty, And your vats overflow with new wine. 11 My son, do not despise the discipline of יהוה, And do not loathe His reproof; 12 For whom יהוה loves He reproves, As a father the son whom he delights in.c Footnote: cJob 3:11-12 are quoted in Heb 12:5-6. 13 Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, And the man who gets understanding; 14 For the gain from it is better Than gain from silver, And its increase than fine gold.

2 Timothy 3:10-17 (TS2009)
10 But you did closely follow my teaching, the way of life, the purpose, the belief, the patience, the love, the endurance, 11 the persecutions, the sufferings, which came to me at Antioch, at Ikonion, and at Lustra – what persecutions I bore. Yet out of them all the Master delivered me. 12 And indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in Messiah יהושע, shall be persecuted.c Footnote: cMat 5:10. 13 But evil men and impostors shall go on to the worse,d leading astray and being led astray. Footnote: dMat 24:12, Rev 22:11. 14 But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned, 15 and that from a babe you have known the Set-apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Messiah יהושע. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.

A Tool to shed light over the qualities in our life 2 Jews for a Messiah

Historically, any Jewish group which denied the basic principles of Jewish tradition – Torah and mitzvah-observance – ultimately ceased to be part of the Jewish people. Rabbi Jeshua never denied the basic principles of Jewish tradition, though several who call themselves Christian are not following Christ his teachings and ignore even the basic Jewish core teachings and do not want to work at the basic characteristics a child of God should have.
To remind us of those elements we should work at, the Elohim has given us a useful tool to remember all those basic characteristics.

God has chosen Him a people and because man had rebelled against Him, even more than once, He had provided a solution against the curse of death, the punishment given in the Garden of Eden.

That solution was first spoken off in the Garden of Eden where God said

Genesis 3:13-15 (TS2009)
13 And יהוה Elohim said to the woman,

“What is this you have done?”

And the woman said,

“The naḥash deceived me, and I ate.”

14 And יהוה Elohim said to the naḥash,

“Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and more than every beast of the field. On your belly you are to go, and eat dust all the days of your life. 15 “And I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed.b He shall crush your head, and you shall crush His heel.”

Here at the beginning of times is given the first promise of the Messiah and promise of salvation or redemption. Those Messianic prophesies where going to be repeated many times and at regular intervals the Elohim gave some additional signs so that people could come to recognise when that Messiah would come and who it shall be.

Temptation or nachash had entered life and destroyed the better qualities of man. It tried further to bring down the Godly characteristics man had as being created in the image of God. Therefore all the descendants of the children of Adam and Eve came to hear what they had to do, to keep belonging to the family of God.

From the Children of God was expected that they considered the One and Only One True God their Creator and heavenly Father. By recognising Him as their Father they had to show Him their love and knowing He is the Most High Almighty God above all gods they had to show Him awe or reverence mixed with dread and wonder, inspired by the Omniscient Provider His majestic powerful Omnipotent Power.

In later years, after Moshe had received the tablets with God’s Mitzvah the People  of God required their flock to listen those who told about those Words had given. And after the oral tradition when more scrolls  became available it became expected also that they would listen to or read those commandments and to become connected with God through studying the Torah.

It was required to belong to God’s people to be part of a community that believed and worshipped only that One True God of Israel and that one tried to overcome obstacles opposing Godliness in the world.

Historically, any Jewish group which denied the basic principles of Jewish tradition – Torah and mitzvah-observance – ultimately ceased to be part of the Jewish people.

The Sadducees, who were active in Judea during the Second Temple period, and the Karaites or Qaraites, considered the Oral Torah, as codified in the Talmud and subsequent works, to be authoritative interpretations of the Torah. They refused to accept certain parts of the Oral Law, because according to them all of the divine commandments were handed down to Moshe by God and recorded in the written Torah without additional Oral Law or explanation. As a result, Karaite Jews or those belonging to  Karaism did not accept as binding the written collections of the oral tradition in the Midrash or Talmud and soon after, broke away completely as part of the Jewish People. The Hellenists, secularists during the Second Temple period, also soon became regarded as no longer “Jewish.” Eventually, these groups vanished completely. They were considered to be sects, the same as the followers of rabbi Jeshua. First they were recognised as an acceptable Jewish group, coming from the line of King David and the brotherhood that flourished in Palestine from about the 2nd century BCE to the end of the 1st century CE, the Essenes, being Jesus a child of the Essene Miriam of the labourer Joseph. Never having been numerous, like the Pharisees, the Essenes meticulously observed the Law of Moses, the Sabbath, and ritual purity, rabbi Jeshua took it at heart to let everybody know how important those virtues are to enter the Kingdom of God.

Those early Christians were the original “Jews for Jeshua” (or “Jews for Jesus“) who kept to the traditional Jewish holy days and food regulations (Kosher eating according Kashrut or Jewish religious dietary laws). But within a few years, the turning point came when Paul, realizing that Jews wouldn’t accept the concept of a dead Messiah, and opened up membership to non-Jews. adaptions where made for goyim to enter their community, them not having to apply all Jewish regulations. Those non-Jews who joined the “Jews for Jesus” accepted the Divine revelation of the Torah, but not the eternal, binding nature of the commandments. Initially, these Jews were reliable in their kashruth, the fitness or kosher state, requiring certain foods not to be eaten and others to be prepared in a specified manner, and counted in a minyan, the quorum of at least ten Jewish adults to constitute a representative “community of Israel” for liturgical purposes (religious obligations and prayer service). When a minyan is lacking for synagogue services, those who have gathered merely recite their prayers as private individuals.

As such in many communities or brotherhoods of the “Jews for Jesus”, also having become known as the Jewish sect “The Way“, there was thus no public reading from the Torah (first five books of the Bible) and no Hafṭarah (selection from the Nevi’im or prophetic books of the Bible). Such invocations as the Kaddish and qedusha (3rd section of all Amidah recitations) were likewise omitted, for none of these was considered appropriate unless the “Jewish community” prayed as one.

Though the growing community of followers of Christ Jesus brought it to a point that these “Jews” experienced a total severing of Jewish identity. It became worse when more and more false teachings came into the community, notwithstanding the resistance and warning by the Jewish rabbi Saul (apostle Paul) and the first disciples of Jesus. By the followers of Christ came division by those who started to make Jesus into their god and did not mind taking pagan rites into their services. This made Jews boiling and excluding those Christians, which went in against the basic teaching of rabbi Jeshua who was for worship of only One true God, the God of Israel. Already three hundreds years after the refreshing of Jewish thought by rabbi Jeshua, a majority agreed to the Roman rulers to accept a similar pantheon like the Greeks and Romans, adopting Zeus in Issou, ravishing rabbi Jeshua’s name to fit the worshipping of a new three-headed god, later better known as the Trinity.

When found the necessary books to read and how to read them

The Bible is not only the best sold book in the world, it is also the book which gives the best advice, but that is something man does not like to accept from Some One or Some Thing he cannot see or touch, though if man would be willing enough to hear and feel, he could feel the presence of the Most High and feel His Guidance.

Until today lots of people have been rebellious against God and it is that rebellion which made it so difficult for mankind. When more people would follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures we would have a much better world.

When a person has found what is important in his or her life he or she has come to see what books are the most important to read. Once this is known he or she has to come to find the right way how to read those books and how best to understand what is written in them.

The Bestseller all times, the Book of books or as it is known by many under the title “the Bible” should be recognised as the best guide in life for getting the best life. People also should know that that guidebook “the Bible” is not only restricted to what we call the Kethuvim Bet or ‘second writings’, the Messianic Scriptures, which is generally known under the name “the New Testament“. The Pre-Messianic Scriptures or Old Testament is a big part which is of utmost importance to come to understand the Word of God.

Read All About It!

The book that tells about The Elohim, the Most Almighty Divine Creator and Most High Ruler of the universe is that Super Being or Spirit so many are looking for, can give mankind ideas why and how everything went wrong and why we are still in such a mess.

Those books all should read tell us how mankind evolved and how people who have seen sufficient evidence still suppressed the truth about the Most High Divine Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

Looking in those books you shall come to see and understand that the Divine Maker of all things was and is not pleased with man who keeps doubting God His right to be the Most High Governor. Therefore  God’s extreme anger is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who restrain the truth [from being known and obeyed] by their wickedness. Look around you and you will find many people who shall try to convince you that god is quatch, that there is no such thing as a divine Creator. They and we should know that for what is known about God is plain to these people [i.e., to the Goyim or Gentiles], because God has also made it clear to them. Namely in each person, being created in the image of God, there is an intern feeling, an instinct, which whispers that they are an element of the creation by the Creator. For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities of eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, and even up to today nobody can ignore those things seen in the surroundings. Nature can be perceived through the things that the Most High has made. So, these people have no excuse [i.e., for not believing in the divine Creator the Elohim Hashem Jehovah].

Big problem of our world is that man loves his own words and prefers to listen to philosophies of men instead of listening to the Words written in the Bible. Not prepared to take those words serious but holding fast to the words of  so called theologians and commentators to the Bible, many are blinded by them and their churches. Listening to all those philosophical talks they are often engaged in their useless speculations and their foolish minds get filled with spiritual darkness because they enjoy so much those discussion on matters man wants to give his own twist, instead of taking those words written in the Bible just for what they say black on white.

I too can see, what I hope you shall see too, that there are many organisations, institutions, who claim to be wise and to be the only ones who can have you come to understand the Bible. They forget that is all in the Power of God. It is He Who gives the light and insight in His Ow Words. He does not need extra people to explain His Words. On their own God His words can tell everything. People perhaps can help others to come to read God His Word and can perhaps help to guide them to get through those Words. Then they can only hope they may be a helping hand in the Name of God, a workforce for the Most High Powerful Power and Giver of Light.

In this world we can see how many peoples have made themselves gods. We can see that there are people who call themselves ‘Christian‘, what should mean ‘being a follower of Christ‘, who ignore many teachings of that Christ and came to make their Jesus into their god, becoming fools according to the apostles, exchanging the honour belonging to the immortal God for the statues of a mortal god (when they believe Jesus died), mortal men, and birds, and animals and reptiles. Everywhere in the world we look for the way how people worship their gods we can see that like in the Catholic Church and other religious groups they have made pictures of their god to which they bow down and bring offers.

A lover of God must know that God has allowed this to happen. But He abandoned them to have the impure desires of their hearts, and to practice degrading behaviour with their bodies among themselves. For they exchanged the Elohim’s truth for the devil’s lie, i.e. for the sayings of the slayers or avengers of God.

Those books man should read from the Library of God shows man how and Who man has to worship and serve. Those books also show how man came to worship those things God Himself made. In those Holy books you shall be able to find why God allowed [or, abandoned] them to [practice] degrading passions and / or even allowed them to leave natural functions for what they were supposed to be and for what man and woman were originally made.

You shall come to see that the Guidebook, the Bible, shall show you why there are so many things in the world which may disgust you or may let you wonder if that is normal. You shall come to see how man went wrong in his desires but also how you can keep yourself on the right track.
You too shall be able to find ways to have the right desires for each other for not doing indecent sexual acts or having indecent behaviour against others. In those books you shall be able to find ways to avoid trouble or not getting a penalty because you shall have learned from them not to contribute to perversion or wrong acts.

By reading the Scriptures you shall be able to avoid degrading your mind and to practice those things which you as a decent person should do, avoiding all kinds of wickedness, evil, greed, and maliciousness. You shall come to see that when you read those books any form of envy, strife, deceit and malice shall go away form you, if you are willing to follow the good advice given in those Holy Books. The words in those books are no gossip, no slanderer, but are actual facts which we should take at heart. They show us not to be hateful toward God, not to be arrogant, proud and boastful, but to come respectful to all creatures of God, even to those who do not want to know about God.

I wonder if those who do not want to know about God and about the sent one from Him would be aware what they are missing. Probably not. They do not mind to do not kosher things as long as it can serve them. They are so much busy with their own good in the here and now. They do not mind not keep their promises or to show natural affection. Often we can see that they also are merciless.

We should know that these people know that God’s decrees require that those who practice such things deserve to die [i.e., either spiritual or temporal punishment], yet they not only do the same things [themselves], but even approve of other people who practice them.

Romans 1:18-32 The Scriptures 1998+  (18)  For the wrath of Elohim is revealed from heaven against all wickedness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,  (19)  because that which is known of Elohim is manifest among them, for Elohim has manifested it to them.  (20)  For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His everlasting power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse,  (21)  because, although they knew Elohim, they did not esteem Him as Elohim, nor gave thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.  (22)  Claiming to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  and changed the esteem of the incorruptible Elohim into the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds and of four-footed beasts and of reptiles.  (24)  Therefore Elohim gave them up to uncleanness in the lust of their hearts, to disrespect their bodies among themselves,  (25)  who changed the truth of Elohim into the falsehood, and worshipped and served what was created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.  (26)  Because of this Elohim gave them over to degrading passions. For even their women exchanged natural relations for what is against nature,  (27)  and likewise, the men also, having left natural relations with woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing indecency, and receiving back the reward which was due for their straying.  (28)  And even as they did not think it worth- while to possess the knowledge of Elohim, Elohim gave them over to a worthless mind, to do what is improper,  (29)  having been filled with all unrighteousness, whoring, wickedness, greed, evil; filled with envy, murder, fighting, deceit, evil habits; whisperers,  (30)  slanderers, haters of Elohim, insolent, proud, boasters, devisers of evils, disobedient to parents,  (31)  without discernment, covenant breakers, unloving, unforgiving, ruthless;  (32)  who, though they know the righteousness of Elohim, that those who practise such deserve death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practise them.

People should believe more in themselves in in their Creator. When they would believe more in the Power of God they would know that it is He Who shall give them the necessary knowledge and the necessary guidance.
They also should know that God has given somebody to bring them to God. That man is Jesus, the sent one from God, son of man and son of God. He is the truth, the salvation and the glory of God in which man should come to believe that he (Jesus) is the Way to God and not God himself like so many churches preach, contrary to the Word of God.

When listening to Jeshua (Jesus) his words, presented in the Messianic writings, people shall have no excuse any more not to come to understand Who God is and what He has done and should also know how they have to behave in this world.

Are you willing to belong to the good people to whom Jehovah, the Only One true God of Israel, has given the Holy Land, because the others are so wicked?

Deuteronomy 9:4-6 The Scriptures 1998+  (4)  “Do not think in your heart, after יהוה {Jehovah} your Elohim has driven them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness יהוה {Jehovah} has brought me in to possess this land.’ But it is because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה {Jehovah} is driving them out from before you.  (5)  “It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה {Jehovah} your Elohim drives them out from before you, in order to establish the word which יהוה {Jehovah} swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ.   (6)  “And you shall know that יהוה {Jehovah} your Elohim is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Let us not be stiff-necked (or having an iron sinew) not forgetting how God’s People had provoked the Adonai to anger from the beginning of their wilderness journey. They were liberated but forgot very quickly. Now the 2nd Adam brought also a liberation, though many have soon forgotten who it was in whose Name. Again those people who were liberated from death made them graven images. (This time no golden calf but golden crosses and other images of their god Jesus.) Until today lots of people have been rebellious against God. In this world of rebellion we can show to God we do not want to be the rebels but prefer to follow His Word and not that of man. to do that it is best to take up the Bible and to start studying thoroughly, so that you really come to know what God wants from you and me and from all the world.

A beginning by the 2016 Chanukah celebrations

By the beginning of the 2016 festival of Chanukah presenting a new blog on the net. Looking at mankind and seeing so many religious groups I wonder what their relation might be to the worshipping of the real Creator or Maker of the universe.

On Yom Vav, 23rd Kislev 5777 or in the common calendar 2016, December 23, remembering that the 25th of Kislev, 5541 (1780) and 5560 (1799) were the first Day of Chanukah, the day and the day before Chassidim joyfully celebrate the Rosh Hashanah (“new year”) of Chassidism , with an assemblage addressed by a Rebbe for the farbrengens (Chassidic gatherings) and an increased commitment to the ways and teachings of Chassidism. Tachnun (supplication) and similar prayers are omitted whilst they begin anew the yearly cycle of the daily study of the Tanya, Rabbi Schneur Zalman’s major Chassidic work (as part of the “Chitas” daily study program) with its explanation of Chumash, the first five books of the Torah.

A few hours before we have the Shabbat Mevarchim (“the Shabbat that blesses” the new month) and we come to the eight-day festival of Chanukah lighting at nightfall the first Chanuca candle of the Menorah (seven-branched candelabrum) and the one of the Hanukkah menorah, to start our wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrating the rededication of the Holy Temple, I as a young wanderer, a Benjamin in the darkness of this world, wants to look for more light and spread also myself some light, giving out my hand to those who are also looking to come closer to the Most Almighty Divine Creator of heaven and earth.

Also many Christians may be looking at some light, but lovers of God should question if they are looking for the right light. In this world of darkness lots of pagan activities seem to lure people in for them pleasant festivities and many honoured traditions which for the Creator or not so appreciated. And I think we should do our utmost best to please the Almighty Creator of all things, and therefore should be careful in which activities of the world we would like to become partakers.

Looking at mankind and seeing so many religious groups I wonder what their relation might be to the worshipping of the real Creator or Maker of the universe. Seeing that since the times there came change in the blackness, nothingness and the void the world has not evolved for the good, I wonder how long it still shall take before we might see the Messiah bringing an end to all this ‘shit’.

I am convinced the Maker Himself gave humankind His Word to have them see what is going to happen and to come to know the Plan of This Master Maker. Therefore there is the necessity to come to know that Word of G’d. Wanting to get to know about that marvellous Plan I start my journey with this blog, trying to come to find some clarity in teachings of those who are called the people of that maker, the People of Israel.

Not being a rabbi or rebbe, having respect for those who want to and can teach, I would love to look with you (my readers) what mentors might have to tell. I do hope I shall be able to find some good masters of Torah and shall have enough thoughts to share with them and you to grow up in faith, finding more light in my and your life.

As I look forward to tonight’s commemoration of the miracle of the oil, all the Temple’s oil which was been defiled by the pagan invaders, the Chosen People of G’d having found only one small cruse of ritually pure olive oil and this one-day supply miraculously burning for eight days, until new, pure oil could be obtained, I not only want to recall and publicize that miracle, but want to look at the many miracles the Master Creator and Provider offered to those who were willing to worship Him and Him alone.

I am pleased you have found this site and have read this article. I do hope you will come to visit this site and the other site where I shall present views on Jewish faith. It is not that I shall write very regularly on my own site nor on From Guestwriter, but perhaps and hopefully those little sprinkles shall also be able to shed some more light on Judaic and Christian views and the Way the Elohim wants us to walk

May the Most High Maker bless those who come along this path and guide me to come closer to Him and to bring others also closer to Him.
