Not studying an abstract and arcane text of the ancient world
The Divine Creator provided the greatest tool to learn what we should know, to make the best of our life, with His infallible Word, collected in 66 books, whereby 25% of the text is focussing on a Mashiach or Messiah, a Saviour for all mankind. For some people it may look an arcane language of ancient times not useful any more for our contemporary world. The written collection of order, instruction, or guide, issued by an authority much higher than any living being on this earth, may for many be not easily understood, abstruse or obscure, because they just not want to listen to the words like they are written down but prefer to listen to human doctrines which may confuse lots of people and bring a lot of false teachings into the world. The Bible is not at all arcane, requiring secret knowledge to be understood. One does not have to have a degree in theology to come to understand God's Word. To get to understand it and to get wisdom one needs to read it regularly and has to study those words given by the Most High, giving more attention to them than to words of so called theologians who prefer to hold on to human doctrines instead of Biblical doctrines.

The world received written words from the Ruach haKodesh, to be taught and to receive encouragement of the Tanakh and presenting prophesies so that we might patiently hold on to a hope entrusted by the Most High Elohim, so that we may be fully equipped for every good work.

With the Holy Scriptures we are given words that should have us to come to reflect on our own life and that of others, learning from the lessons given in that library of books. In the various books which make the Bible you may find the words written down by men of God by whom Jehovah put forth His hand, gave them to see and understand, and put His words in their mouth, setting them over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

To seek wisdom the Holy Scriptures are the best source for getting to know everything man has to know to make the best of his life and to see what is going to happen in this world, so that man can protect himself for the horrible war to come. Man should know that every writing inspired by the Most High Elohim Hashem Jehovah is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work and may find the Way to God and to the small gate of the Kingdom of God.

The Pentateuch and the words of prophetic man are still of value for today and contain a lot of wisdom and stories by which we in the present times can learn a lot from. By reading the prophetic books we not only can learn what happened in the past and how wars could be won, but also what is going to happen in the future and how we can prepare us for the coming World War III and the end-times.

The Bible is not only the best sold book in the world, it is also the book which gives the best advice, but that is something man does not like to accept from Some One or Some Thing he cannot see or touch, though if man would be willing enough to hear and feel, he could feel the presence of the Most High and feel His Guidance. Until today lots of people have been rebellious against God and it is that rebellion which made it so difficult for mankind. When more people would follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures we would have a much better world.

John Walton writes
God … adopted the language of the culture to communicate in terms they understood.
or “we could say incarnated Himself” writes who regularly preaches at Bethany Community Church. With that incarnation he probably does mean something different than what we would understand by bringing life into His Word. Naturally we do know the Almighty never incarnated into something or some one. But what God provided, was that God His Word came to the people
“in the language of the culture to communicate in terms they understood.”
or, as John Walton puts it,
“[The Bible’s] message transcends the culture in which it originated, but the form in which the message was imbedded was fully permeated by the ancient culture.”
We should believe the Bible is authoritative, and we should take the words of those 66 different books as containing all the necessary.
We may never forget that
We need to be open to letting the Bible speak in its own voice, not in ours.
This is so often forgotten by lots of people, who prefer to take all those added notes by theologians as more telling than the words in the bible text itself.
When reading the Bible we should know that we have God’s Word in our hands and that we should open our ears to what He is saying. We should be humble enough not to think human beings who went to a theological college would know it better than Him. Reading the Bible is a way of hearing God’s word when we are prepared to have our ears and eyes open for what the Most High wants to tell and show us.
We do have to allow Scripture to guide us on what to do and how to serve the Most High. Whatever happens and whenever in our life we can turn to the Bible. In times of sadness, joy, worry or bereavement there is He Who wants to talk to us. It is up to us to be willing to hear what God has to say.
Being humble with our interpretations, because we aren’t perfect, we always should remember that god’s Word is perfect and does not need any adding by human beings.

Today, in a short blog post, we are going to try to dive pretty deep theologically and philosophically. I want to begin with a quote from a pretty well-known Biblical scholar at Wheaton, named John Walton, who apparently Larry went to school with, which makes me quite jealous.
Walton writes this, “We must notice that when God wanted to talk to the Israelites about their intellect, emotions, and will, he did not revise their ideas of physiology and feel compelled to reveal the function of the brain. Instead, he adopted the language of the culture to communicate in terms they understood.”
For me, that last line is incredibly important… “[God] adopted” – or we could say incarnated Himself – “in the language of the culture to communicate in terms they understood.” What this means is that the message of the Bible is imbedded and formed by the ancient cultures of…

Best to read and study the Bible
in this world where not many are interested in God it is better that we make sure more people come to know that it is best to get to know what is written in those very old writings which form the Bible.
