If I look, as a simple layman, to Jewish and Christian believers, it strikes me how in both religious communities there exist so many different groups, honouring their god in very different ways and providing service to their god or gods and others in the world according to very contrasting doctrines.

Out of genuine interest, I want to find out how and why there are so many different teachings between those who say they love the Most High Divine Creator of everything and those who say that they are following the Word of God, the Torah, Tanakh, the Jewish bible or the Christian bible.

At this site, I would love to explore the reasons why there are many differences between the people who are, so to say, following the same religious texts. When looking at those religious texts I must confess that in both groups as well as by the Muslims, all over the world we can find many traditions, which have nothing to do with what is set in the main religious texts which they call the Word of God, the Tanakh or the Bible, but have more to do what is written down by human beings in many of their theological or religious texts, or it is to say, by human instead of biblical doctrines.
