When winter is at our doorstep

We were primally and essentially homeless and hungry and thirsty, but owing to the steadfast loving-kindness of the Elohei HaElohim we have received the glorious sights and gifts of nature and all its blessings, for which we have to show thankfulness.

This year you could say we had an early already in May- June. Later on in September-October, we also got warmer temperatures than normal. Halfway November we have seen already a very wet month with the worst flooding in years.

Because it was so humid and ‘warm’ many trees still had their leaves on, so that the storm winds could grab them more easily and pull them down.

In the end, past 15 November, it looks like nature woke up from its summer siesta. Autumn rang at the door and the leaves were changing colour. The storms rang the bell so that the world would know it was time to go to have a Winter sleep. As winter approaches, the world outside seems to slow down and reminds us of the cycle of life.

For many, after the harvest, it is a time to think about all the things we get from the Bore. The time has come in the yearly cycle to take this opportunity to be thankful. In many countries, they have a special holiday. Hopefully, it will not be Thanksgiving just for having a big fat turkey at a nice dinner, with lots of presents around, but also a day of reflection, having an eye and words of praise to that marvellous Creator.

We have the time to honour the sacredness of life, time to be happy with our past and hopeful for our future, time to be joyous with the people in our life, and time to be honest and truthful in all things ❤

I wish you a nice autumn time 🍂 and a lovely 🥰 Thanksgiving day.

❤️ 💕
