Reading to grow and to become wise concerning the most important thing in life 4 Words giving us wisdom and encouragement

With the Holy Scriptures we are given words that should have us to come to reflect on our own life and that of others, learning from the lessons given in that library of books.

In the various books which make the Bible you may find the words written down by men of God by whom Jehovah put forth His hand, gave them to see and understand, and put His words in their mouth, setting them over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

The assembly of 66 books which form the most important library for life demonstrate the good and bad of man, even of the chosen ones of God. Nothing is being hid for our eyes.

We are told that we are just sojourners here on this globe and that we do have to find ways to live with each other in peace. That peace is not something easy is also clearly shown. The many books show how even men of God had to encounter many difficulties and often had a very dangerous life. We are told of men who had to deal with wars and diplomatic difficulties and how they in their tumultuous life did not choose for the ways of the world but the ways of God. We are shown their inner feelings, their jealousy and their wants, which were not always kosher.

They are all examples of whom we should learn. Reading sacred books or the Bible we should take time to think about the read material and let it sink in us to become the beginning of a rich source.

“Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
(Proverbs 4:5–7 KJV)

Those words given to mankind should have us to come to reflect on our own life and that of others. We should learn not to swerve from the words and have come to see that those people who have departed from them may think they are lucky man, but are really missing the most important thing in life. Many people have turned aside or be turned aside abruptly from a straight path because they did not have any need to learn the truth.

From those ancient writings we also can see that many people had to learn the hard way, but in the end came to see that the wisdom which comes form God is supreme. By coming to read the Holy Scriptures you shall be able to get wisdom. Even when many may be against your Bible reading and Bible study, some even making you are not receiving certain positions in life, you should know that though it may costs all your possessions when getting understanding, God has something for you at the end of the race.

We also should remember that by going deeper into the Word of God you shall get more and more satisfaction of life, getting a feel of glow of contentment and peacefulness. By finding precious wisdom you shall receive happiness and you shall come to understand that the man who gets understanding, for her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return shall be better than fine gold.

“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.”
(Proverbs 3:13–14 KJV)

“For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.”
(Proverbs 8:11 KJV)

In the world we find many so called religious people who have made themselves gods and use pictures of them in their services. Be it sculptures of persons or objects like crosses of fishes, those people have given preference to give their ear to human doctrines instead of Biblical doctrines. Some of them came to worship elements of nature (plants, animals or even natural phenomena.

They have forgotten what the Divine Maker of everything demanded of His creation.

“You are not to make yourself a carved-image or any figure that is in the heavens above, that is on the earth beneath, that is in the waters beneath the earth; you are not to bow down to them, you are not to serve them, for I, YHWH your God, am a jealous God, calling-to-account the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, to the third and the fourth (generation) of those that hate me,”
(Exodus 20:4–5 SB)

“Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.”
(Jeremiah 10:14 KJV)

“Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:”
(Isaiah 2:8 KJV)

All people should know that God is a Spirit who can and may not be presented with any graven image.

“Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.”
(Acts 17:29 KJV)

Never has any man seen God, because man can not see God and live.

“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
(1 John 4:12 KJV)

“But he said: You cannot see my face, for no human can see me and live!”
(Exodus 33:20 SB)

Though we can not see God, does not mean we can not hear Him. He has given us His Voice and has sent several men who did not have their eyes on the many things they could see and others wanted so much to have, but directed their heart and soul to the unseen.

“Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
(2 Corinthians 4:14–18 KJV)

Into those sent ones the Elohim Hashem Jehovah put His words, which as such never came from their own private interpretation, so that man would know.

“Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”
(Jeremiah 1:9–10 KJV)

“Knowing this first, that every prophecy of Scripture becomes not from your* own interpretation. For* no prophecy was ever brought about by the will of man; but the holy men of God spoke the word being carried by the Holy Spirit.”
(2 Peter 1:20β1 MLV)

“whom the heaven must accept until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all his holy prophets that have been from of old.”
(Acts 3:21 MLV)

All those things what pass in the world even when not forgotten shall be past, but the Word of God is something which shall always stay for ever.

“But the word of the Lord is abiding forever.’ {Is. 40:6-9} And this is the word of the good-news which was proclaimed to you*.”
(1 Peter 1:25 MLV)

The words of the sent ones spoken in the Name of God may or will never pass away.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words may never* pass away. {Mt 24:36-44 & Mk 13:32-37 & Lk 21:34-36 Second Coming}”
(Matthew 24:35 MLV)

By all those who come to believe shall that Word of God and His sent one is the truth and the life, shall when they practice the will of God be able to find a life forever.

“Because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the egotism of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.”
(1 John 2:16 MLV)

Those who love God should come to read and study His Word, His letters to the world and keep to His Words more than to the words of man.
